2010-11 (Senior): Chelsea Dale enjoyed her finest year at Colorado, averaging 3.5 points and 1.2 assists in 24 games. In fact her 85 total points in 24 games were 42 more than the first 46 games of her career. She missed the first nine games of the season due to academic issues (one other due to injury), but rebounded to contribute a career-best 20 minutes per game including 10 starting assignments. She registered three games of double-digit scoring, including a career high 16 points in the win over Colgate (12/30). In one of the biggest wins of the year, Dale scored 11 points, dished out four assists and had three rebounds as the Buffaloes knocked off No. 17/16 Iowa State, 66-60, in overtime (1/15). She twice set personal-bests with five rebounds, the first in her season debut at USC (12/18) and the second on senior night against No. 3 Baylor (3/5). Dale shot 89 percent from the free-throw line, missing only two shots all season (16-of-18). She made two clutch free throws down the stretch during CU's 70-58 WNIT win at Wyoming (3/24).

2009-10 (Junior): Played in 23 of 30 games, doubling virtually every personal statistic from her first two seasons combined. Logged 29 points, 18 rebounds and three assists and recorded her first career blocked shot at No. 13 (AP & WBCA) Iowa State. She made 50 percent of her field-goal attempts on the season (10-of-20) and 60 percent from 3-point range (6-of-10). Dale had never made more than one field goal in a game during her CU career until hitting 4-of-4 against Grambling State (12/30), including two from 3-point range as she logged a personal-best 11 points. She had another 2-of-2 performance from downtown against No. 14 (AP)/19 (WBCA) Texas (2/10), which also gave her a Big 12 Conference personal best six points. She scored five points against No. 12/15 Texas A&M, tying a career high with 15 minutes played.

2008-09 (Sophomore): Contributed the majority of her minutes during the last quarter of the season playing in seven of the final eight games. She missed the first seven games of the season recovering from a September surgery to stabilize the ligaments in her right ankle. Dale, who played in a total of 11 games, saw her most extended time by playing a career-high 14 minutes at No. 12 (AP)/8 (WBCA) Texas A&M (2/14), pulling down a personal-best three rebounds. She scored her lone field goal of the season with a scooping layup as she drove through the lane against Missouri (2/28).

2007-08 (Freshman): Saw action in 12 games as a true freshman, totaling 12 points, two rebounds and one assist on the season. Made her collegiate debut in the season-opening win at San Francisco (11/16) and scored her first collegiate points with a 3-point field goal against Texas Southern (12/14). In fact, she made both 3-point field goals she attempted as a freshman, also drilling a long-range jumper against Southern Utah (12/28). She also made both free throw shots she attempted this season, hitting both in the Postseason WNIT semifinal against Marquette (4/2).

High School: Dale is a 2007 graduate of Palos Verdes High School where she graduated as the school's all-time leader in points and 3-pointers. She was an All-Bay League first team selection as a senior and the Pioneer League MVP and leading scorer as a junior. She is a two-time All-CIF Southern Section first team selection and a two-time Daily Breeze All-Area first team member. While topping the Pioneer League in scoring as a junior at 11.9 points per game, she led the Sea Kings to an undefeated conference season (10-0) and a 24-6 overall record. She was second in the Pioneer League in 3-point field goals (45) and averaged 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game as Palos Verdes reached the Division IIIAA CIF Southern Section semifinals. Dale was a Cal-Hi Sports Junior All-State second team pick. She averaged 8.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game as a sophomore, helping the Sea Kings to a 20-9 mark, advancing to the second round of the CIF SS playoffs. She was ranked as the 26th best wing by All-Star Girls Report and the 94th overall player in the nation by Blue Star Basketball. Dale lettered three times in golf and lacrosse.

Academics: Dale will graduate in May 2011 with her bachelor's degree in humanities. In high school, she was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and a two-time member of the CIF Southern Section All-Academic Team Champion.

Personal: Chelsea Leigh Dale was born on April 23, 1989, in Mission Viejo, Calif. She is the daughter of Christopher and Jeri Dale and has one younger sister, Mackenzie, who attends CU, and one younger brother, Brock. She was the co-president of CU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
