He came off the bench for all 14 games, averaging 17.1 minutes while shooting 45 percent from the field and 38 percent from 3-point range. His season was cut short due to a nagging foot injury that he elected to have surgery on, ending his Colorado career in January. In the game at Xavier, he registered a personal-best and team season-high six steals, tying for the 14th best single-game mark in team history and the most by a Buffalo since Spencer Dinwiddie also had six against Jackson State on Nov. 16, 2013. In the home win over Washington State (1/18) he logged his second collegiate double-double, and first as a Buffalo, with 16 points and a season-best 10 rebounds. He averaged 16 points and shot 83 percent from the foul line (19-23) at the Paradise Jam. Finished the season as the Tigers' go-to scorer, averaging 13.6 points per game over Mizzou's final five contests. His season-ending scoring flurry included an impressive 28 points vs. Florida (2/24), leading the Tigers to a 64-52 win over the Gators. His scoring output vs. UF was the third-highest scoring performance by a freshman in Mizzou history, a game in which he shot 10-of-13 from the field, including 6-of-8 from downtown. The 28 points were the most for a Tiger freshman since 2000.
