2024-25 (Junior): Averaged 5.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists over 33 games. He ranked second on the team in assists, fourth in 3-point percentage (.315) and 3-pointers made (28). Scored a career-high 15 points against Harvard (11/17), hitting an efficient 4 of 5 from the field and 4 of 4 from the free throw line. Three of his five double-figure scoring performances came in the first four games of the season. Had back-to-back 12-point efforts in the first two games against Eastern Washington (11/4) and Northern Colorado (11/8). Led the Buffaloes in scoring for the only time this season with 13 at Utah (2/5) while matching a personal best with three 3-point field goals. He matched a personal best with five assists at Kansas State (3/2). Had nine points and three 3-pointers on Senior Day vs. TCU (3/8). Following the season, transferred to Bowling Green.

2023-24 (Sophomore): Averaged 2.1 points and just under two rebounds in 18 games. Coming off a knee surgery in April 2024, he was originally supposed to miss the entire season, but rehab went better than expected and was cleared to play in December 2024, right before the conference season started. Made his season debut in the conference opener against Washington (12/29). Three games into his return, at No. 10 Arizona (1/4), he led the Buffaloes in scoring for the first time with 11 points on 4 of 10 from the field while adding four rebounds. Had six points in the home win over California, hitting 2 of 3 from 3-point range. A career 86 percent shooter from the line (37 of 43), he made 9 of 11 attempts on the season, including his first eight which extended a streak of consecutive made to 24 dating back to the previous year.

2022-23 (Redshirt Freshman): Averaged 6.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 24 games. Ranked second on the team in 3-point shooting at 35.8 percent and was fifth in 3-pointers made with 24. Shot 87.5 percent from the free throw line (28-32) and carried a string of 16-straight made into the offseason. Scored in double-digits six times; five of those coming away from Boulder. Set a career-high with 14 points in the win over No. 24 Texas A&M (11/18) at the Myrtle Beach Invitational. Averaged 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 53-percent on the Pac-12 trip to the desert at Arizona State (2/16) and Arizona (2/18). Had 10 points and a career-best seven rebounds in the road win over the Sun Devils. Scored a personal Pac-12 best 13 points on 5 of 10 shooting at Arizona. Missed the final seven games of the season with a knee injury.

2021-22 (Freshman): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Colorado basketball program.

High School: A 2021 graduate of PHHoenix Prep in Arizona where he played his senior season in the "Grind Session" and was named to the All-Star Team from a squad that featured eight future NCAA Division I players. Averaged 22.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists as a junior for Isidore Newman High School in his hometown of New Orleans. An All-State selection by the Louisiana State Writers Association, he helped the Greenies to a district title and the semifinals of the Division III state semifinals.

Academics: An Information Science major at Colorado. Member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll.

Personal: Born March 1, 2003, in Lleida, Spain. He is the son of Michael and Mistye Ruffin. His father is a Denver native and played collegiately at Tulsa and nine seasons in the NBA for six different teams. He is the third of seven children in the Ruffin family, along with brothers Deionte, Zathan and Gabriel and sisters Milaya, Kalea and Neriah. His favorite NBA team is the Phoenix Suns and his favorite player is Jrue Holiday. Enjoys math and solving problems. Chose Colorado because he "liked the coaches and the team dynamics. The academics are also good at Colorado especially in my field of interest."
