AT STATESBORO HIGH SCHOOL

Played for coach Matt Dobson and Jeff Kaiser for the Statesboro Blue Devil for three years on varsity.
In his career, he rushed for over 1,600 yards and added 10 touchdowns.
Additionally, he played Quarterback on offense throwing 11 touchdowns.
In all, he accounted for over 1,700 all-purpose yards and 22 touchdowns on offense.
As a junior playing defensive back had two interceptions in seven games.

As a junior, he rushed 83 times for 478 yards and five touchdowns, hitting the 100-yard mark twice.
Against Southeast Bulloch in a 56-14 win his junior season, he scored three touchdowns, running the ball nine times for 100 yards and two scores and throwing the ball for 64 yards and a touchdown.
In his sophomore season, he rushed the ball 140 times for 1,083 yards and five touchdowns while throwing 31 passes for 465 and seven touchdowns.
Against Effingham County in a 34-31 loss during his sophomore year, he scored two touchdowns on the ground, running the ball 18 times for 234 yards (the most in his career)

Also ran track at Statesboro where he captured bronze in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes as the GHSA AAAAAA state track meet as a sophomore and posted 100 times that season of 10.50 (1.2), 10.59 (1.6), 10.69, 10.79 and 10.99 to go along with 22.09 and 21.69 in the 200. His 10.5 100-meter mark is the school record.
