2023 (Sophomore) 

  • Played in all 21 games during the 2023 season, starting in 20 
  • Saw action in 1,359 minutes, accumulating 21 shots with eight on goal 
  • Scored both of her goals on the trip to Oregon with one against each Oregon (9/28) and Oregon State (10/1) 
  • She put in the game winning goal against Oregon State, the first of her career 
  • Finished fifth on the team with a career-high 21 shots 

2022 (Freshman) 

  • Layne appeared in the starting lineup for six out of the 20 matchups she appeared in 
  • Scored her first career goal in CU’s home opening 5-0 win over Weber St. (8/18) 
  • Recorded a career-high of two goals and four shots on goal during CU’s 6-0 win over Texas A&M Commerce (9/1) 
  • Registered her first career assist in CU’s 3-0 defeat over Valparaiso 
  • Completed her debut season fourth on the team with 10 (4 G, 2 A) and 15 shots on goal 

High School 

  • Graduated from Loveland H.S. in 2021 
  • Was not allowed to play in high school due to DA rules 

Club 

  • Rated as a four-star recruit by Top Drawer Soccer 
  • Played club with Real Colorado 
  • Was the 2020-21 ECNL U18/19 Northwest Conference Player of the Year and was a member of the 2020-21 ECNL U18/19 All-America Team 
  • She's also ranked No. 82 in the IMG Academy Top 150
