Fifth Year (2022): Played in all 20 matchups and started in 18 … Scored two goals; one against San Diego (8/21) and the other against Omaha (9/04) … Picked up one assist in the 5-1 win over San Diego where she also totaled three points and two shots on goal … Assisted the backline in five shutouts ... She wrapped up her CU career with 78 games played, 76 starts, 24 points (9 G, 6 A), 21 shots on goal, four game winning goals and 6,700 overall minutes played … Signed professionally with KuPS of the Finish National League
Senior (2021): Started all 19 matches…Voted a team captain for the second consecutive season… Led the Buffaloes in minutes played this season, totaling 1707… Played full-time in 14 matches… She was third on the team with eight points (2 G, 4 A)… Helped the Buffs to four shutout victories this season.
Junior (2020): Voted a team captain...Sharts had her best season in Boulder, finishing second on the team with four goals...She was also second on the team with nine points (4 G, 1 A)...Sharts notched back-to-back game-winning goals against Northern Colorado (2/11/21) and Weber State (2/20/21)...Started all 17 matches, playing a team-high 1,573 minutes...Helped secure eight shutouts...Graduated with a degree in communications...Became the first CU player to earn CoSIDA Academic All-American honors.
Sophomore (2019): Sharts was a key component for the Buffs in her first year in Boulder…She started in all 22 matches…She scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Washington, helping the Buffs position themselves into the NCAA Tournament…She was second on the team with 1,975 minutes played…Sharts finished the season with eight total shots and three shots on goal.
Redshirt Freshman (2018 at UCLA): Sharts appeared in six matches for UCLA...She played a season-high 21 minutes in the Bruins’ 3-0 win at Loyola Marymount...Helped UCLA to five shutouts in her six games. She played 61 total minutes.

High School: Sharts earned TeamSnap All-America and All-Region honors in 2017. She earned four varsity letters playing center back for Westlake High School and led her team to league titles in 2014, 2016 and 2017. Was named the Marmonte League MVP in 2016 and 2017 and was the league’s Defensive MVP in 2015. Was a three-time All-CIF selection and got named to the All-State and All-Area Teams in 2015, 2016, and 2017. All-American Watch List in 2016-2017.
Club: Played club soccer with the Slammers u18 ECNL. Was a member of the Cal South ODP Team from 2012-2016 and won five regional championships and the ODP National Championships in 2015 and 2016. Sharts was named to the ODP All-Star Team in 2015 and was ODP Regional Tournament Top Scorer in 2015. Was on the Region IV ODP Team 2014 and invitee from 2013-2016.
In the Classroom: Is pursuing her master’s in organizational leadership.
Personal: Hannah Michele Sharts was born in Simi Valley, Calif. Her parents are Michele and Scott Sharts. She a younger sister, Sydney. Her father played baseball at the University of Miami and Cal State Northridge, and in the minor leagues for the Cleveland Indians organization. Her mom played soccer at UCLA. Her greatest thrill was watching in person the U.S. National Team defeat Japan 5-1 in the 2015 World Cup finals. She admires Lionel Messi. Her hobbies include going to the beach, hiking and paddle-boarding.
