- Earned back-to-back 2nd-place finishes at the CU Invitational (43.70m / 143' 4") and Jack Christiansen Invite (42.62m / 139' 10").
- Placed 7th at both the Desert Heat Classic (44.14m / 144' 10") and Mt. SAC Relays (43.51m / 142' 9").

- Attended North Allegheny Senior High School
- Placed second at the PIAAÂ state championship in javelin
- Came in first place at the WPIALÂ individual championship
