Opened her collegiate career with a win in the 60m at the Potts Invitational (Jan. 10–11), clocking 7.65 and finishing second in the 200m (24.68). Placed second in the 60m (7.58) at the Colorado Classic after running 7.67 in prelims. Also ran a season-best 7.57 to finish third at the Mines Alumni Classic. Competed at the Jarvis Scott Invite in Lubbock, Texas, running 7.71 in the 60m.
High School:
Graduated from Rampart High School in 2024. Named Colorado Springs Who League Female Athlete of the Year in 2023. Five-time Honor Roll recipient and three-time Dean’s List honoree. Competed for the Colorado Springs Striders Track Club under coaches Ed Latimer and Ron White
Personal:
Born July 28, in Denver, Colorado. Daughter of Cynthia and Walter Taylor. Interested in pursuing a career in psychiatry after college and plans to attend medical school. Majoring in psychology to explore how the brain functions and impacts human behavior. Volunteers as a youth leader for the African American Youth Leadership Conference, with additional service at Wild Blue Cats and the Humane Society. Hobbies include gardening and reading.
