As a Junior in 2009
Lindroth saw action in 26 matches in her first season as a Buff.  She made her CU debut against Valparaiso (8/28). Lindroth saw time at three different positions for the Buffs, including defensive specialist, libero, and outside hitter. She ranked third on the team with 166 digs, and her 2.41 digs per set ratio was good for second on the squad.  Lindroth recorded a season-high 19 digs twice in 2009, against Missouri (11/14) and Texas A&M (11/25). On the year, she recorded 15 assists and two kills.

At James Madison
Lindroth played in 154 games in two seasons for the Duke Dogs and recorded 327 digs, including 280 as a sophomore. She ranked seventh in the Colonial Athletic Association in digs in conference only matches with 3.40 per set. Lindroth recorded a career-high of 23 digs twice in 2008, once against Hofstra and once versus UNC Wilmington. She led JMU in digs during 14 matches.  
 
High School 
Lindroth was a member of the 2006 Battle Mountain High School Huskies to go 30-0 en route to the 4A Colorado State Championship and was named the MVP of the tournament. As a senior she was all-state and all-league first team selections. Lindroth was a all-league and an honorable mention all-state selection as a junior and was named honorable mention all-league as a sophomore. In 2007 she was selected to compete for the Swedish Junior National Team which played in the 8 Nations Tournament in France.
 
Personal  
Sofia Lovisa Lindroth was born in Uppsalla, Sweden on April 26, 1989. She is the daughter of Ulf and Pam Lindroth of Edwards, Colo. Her mother played in the AVP the first year of its existence.  Lindroth has one older sister, Nichole. She lists her hobbies as snowboarding, hiking, wakeboarding and music. Lindroth is fluent in Swedish.
                                                               
Academics  
Lindroth is an open major at Colorado but is interested in media arts.
