Bio
Junior (2020): Started four matches and played in all 17...Tallied her lone goal of the season in CU’s 3-0 win over Northern Colorado (2/11/21)...Played a season-high 78 minutes against Arizona (4/9/21)...Had three shots on goal...Played 18 minutes in CU’s NCAA Tournament match against Southern Alabama.
Sophomore (2019): Loren started 10 games for the Buffs…She landed two shots on goal and played a total of 249 minutes before suffering a season-ending injury at Arizona (Sept. 27).
Freshman (2018): Loren spent the bulk of the season solidifying the backline for the Buffs...She played in all 20 games, helping CU record eight shutouts...She recorded her first-career point with an assist in CU’s opener at Air Force...Loren registered her first goal in CU’s 3-1 win over Iowa State...She finished the season with four points and nine shot attempts.
ODP: She was in the ODP from 2011-15 and the ECNL PDP in 2017.
High School: Loren graduated from Redondo Union High School in 2018. She was named first-team All-Bay League as a freshman, sophomore and junior, and was the league’s offensive player of the year as a junior. She was on the honor roll every year and was named her school’s junior most outstanding woman in 2017.
Club: She plays for LAFC Slammers and has been there for six years. She led her team to the ECNL national championship in 2016 and a third-place finish at nationals in 2017.
In the classroom: Loren would like to become either a physical therapist or personal trainer after graduation.
Personal: Jesse Loren was born on Nov. 3, 2000, and is the daughter of Shawna and George Loren. She has a younger sister Haley. She enjoys doing CrossFit, going on hikes and playing beach volleyball in her spare time. She chose CU over the University of San Diego because of the beautiful campus, and amazing soccer and academic programs.
