Junior (2020): Started eight of the 15 matches she played in...Scored her first goal of the season in CU’s 3-2 overtime win over No. 14 USC (3/14/21)...Also got on the scoresheet with a goal in CU’s 2-1 win over Utah (4/16/21)...Picked up an assist on the game-winning goal at Oregon (4/4/21)...Retired after CU’s NCAA Tournament match against South Alabama due to injuries. 

Sophomore (2019): Geraghty played in 21 of CU’s 22 matches...She finished the season third on the team with nine points (4 G, 1 A)...Also finished the season with a .476 shots on goal percentage...Started seven matches and played a season-high 90 minutes at Arizona...Scored CU’s game-winning goal against Northern Colorado in the first round of the NCAA Tournament...Geraghty was also named to the inaugural Pac-12 Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Redshirt Freshman (2018): Geraghty returned from injury, helping Colorado’s offense set school records in goals, points and assists...She appeared in all 20 matches, earning four starts... Geraghty totaled five points (1 G, 3 A)...Got her first collegiate point with an assist against Utah Valley...Her first career goal came in CU’s 4-1 win over Oregon...Geraghty played in 889 minutes, playing a season-high 74 minutes against Colorado State.

Freshman (2017): Geraghty started and played 77 minutes in CU’s season-opener at Colorado State on Aug. 18, but suffered a season-ending knee injury late in the contest. Prior to leaving the field, she attempted three shots, including two on goal.
 
ODP:
Geraghty was on the state ODP team for U-11 and U-12 and attended regional camps.
 
Club:
She played for Colorado Storm in Centennial, Colo., for coach Dave Kunitz. Her team won the state cup at the U-11 level and was the ECNL top Colorado team each year from U-13 to U-17. Storm was ranked No. 4 in the country at U-11 and No. 6 at U-17, reaching the ECNL playoffs for U-14 to U-17 and were in the top eight at nationals in U-14 and U-17. In 2016 she was the Colorado Storm High School Female Player of the Year. Geraghty is the 60th ranked player in the 2017 Top 150 by Top Drawer Soccer, including the 25th rated forward. She has been playing with the Colorado Storm since she was four years old.
 
High School:
Geraghty was a four-year letterwinner at Cherry Creek High School, where she played for coach Jim Schneider. As a senior, she was named Colorado Community Media South Metro Girls Soccer Co-Player of the Year and Class 5A first-team all-state after leading the Centennial League with 51 points and 21 goals. Geraghty led Cherry Creek to a 15-1-1 record and the state tournament as well. She was a four-time first-team all-league performer and was named second-team all-state as a junior. She was also named academic all-state and finished her career as a two-year team captain.
 
In the classroom:
Majored in integrated physiology with a minor in sociology. She would like to become a doctor after graduation. 
 
Personal:
She was born Elisabeth Hardin Geraghty to Steve and Jen Geraghty on Aug. 28, 1998. Her older brother Mick recently graduated from CU a semester early from the Leeds School of Business and plans to start his MBA. Her mother played soccer at Colorado College for four years and played in the national championship in 1986. Geraghty enjoys hiking and being outside and volunteers as a tutor at Holly Hills Elementary. She has grown up with a lot of pets, including a pig, birds, bunnies and a tortoise, and she has five dogs, a cat and five pet chickens. She chose CU because it is a part of the Pac-12 and she “enjoyed the overall attitude and the coaching style of the team,” and wants to “be a part of and make an impact for this nationally-ranked program. And in addition, Boulder is such a great place to live and the university is one of the best in the country.”
