SENIOR (2019): Barton played a total 561 minutes this season, appearing in 10 of the Buffs’ 22 matches…She started seven matches, recording tree assists…She totaled two assists in CU’s 4-0 victory over Northern Colorado... Barton finished the season with 17 shots, three shots on goal and .176 shots on goal percentage.

JUNIOR (2018): Barton was on of CU’s top offensive contributors, totaling 26 points on the season. She scored a career-high 11 goals and tallied four assists in her 17 starts. Barton’s 26 points are tied for the fourth best single season at CU. She became the quickest player to reach 11 goals in program history, doing so in just 10 games. Her 11 goals ranked 45th in the NCAA and are tied for third-best in school history, becoming just one of seven players to reach double digits. She finished third on the team with 1.3 points per game. Barton recorded her first career hat trick in CU’s 6-0 win over Missouri. It was the first of her four multi-goal games. Barton collected games-winning goals against Missouri, UTSA and Michigan State.   

SOPHOMORE (2017): Barton was a key part of CU reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament and breaking school records for shutouts (14) and goals-against average (0.61). She appeared in all 22 matches and started 10 times as a striker, scoring six goals and recording two assists for 14 points, while attempting 41 shots, including 18 on goal. She was third on the team in goals and points. Barton recorded her first career assist on Aug. 20, setting up Taylor Kornieck in overtime of a 1-0 victory against Colorado College. She scored her first two career goals in a 3-0 win over BYU on Sept. 4, striking in the 56th and 83rd minutes off crosses by Kornieck and Becca Rasmussen. She also assisted on Kornieck’s goal in the 23rd minute against BYU as she finished with five points. Barton’s brace on Sept. 16 led CU to a 6-1 win at Denver as she scored the first two goals at 1:29 and again in the 47th minute. She finished the season strong, scoring twice in the final four matches. She found the net at Oregon on Oct. 29, the first goal of a 2-0 win. She also scored at Utah on Nov. 3 in a 2-0 win.
 
FRESHMAN (2016 AT TEXAS TECH): Barton appeared in 18 matches for Texas Tech and started nine times as a true freshman. She was on the field for a total of 798 minutes and totaled 20 shot attempts, including seven on goal. Her season high of five shot attempts came on Oct. 21 at Texas.
 
CLUB TEAM: Barton played for Real Colorado for coach Lorne Donaldson. With Real, she won two State Cup championship, reached the ECNL finals twice and the ECNL finals in 2013. She was also a regional Olympic Development Program selection.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Barton graduated from Columbine High School in 2016, where she lettered in soccer four years for coach Brian Todd. She was named first-team all-state each of her final three years and was the Colorado state and Class 5A player of the year as a sophomore. Barton scored 29 goals as a senior to lead Columbine to the state semifinals, 15 goals as a junior on a state quarterfinals team, and 28 goals as a sophomore en route to the state championship. The 2014 Class 5A state championship was the first girls state championship at Columbine in any sport in 41 years.
 
IN THE CLASSROOM: She plans on majoring in business administration and would like to work in a law profession in sports after graduation.
 
PERSONAL: Tatum Brooke Barton was born on Nov. 7, 1997, in Colorado Springs to Brian and Kelly Barton. Her older brother Taylor plays football at Colorado Mesa University and she has a younger sister Tessa. Her father also played college football.
