Totaled 210 digs and 44 aces her senior year
Named to the All-District team her senior year
Was on the KVCA All-State watch list junior and senior year
Earned KHAA academic honors in junior and senior year
Played club for KIVA (2013-2022) for an allotment of coaches (significant among them was Ron Kordes and Melissa Stark-Bean)
Won the AAU National Championship in 2018 for KIVA
Won JVA World Challenge for KIVA (2017, 2018, 2019)
Won Central Zone Invitational for KIVA (2017, 2018)
Won Bluegrass Tournament for KIVA (2018)
Won JVA Rock n Rumble for KIVA (2017, 2018)
Won MEPL for KIVA (2017, 2018)
Played for the High Performance USA team in 2017

PERSONAL:

Emma Gennell DeSensi is the daughter of Krista and Craig DeSensi
Has two younger siblings, Will and Bella
Grandfather, William, played football at University of Kentucky
Father, Craig, played baseball at Notre Dame (1991-1995)
Hobbies and pastimes include photography, going to the beach, being outdoors, going to concerts and being with friends and family
Wants to travel to Greece and more cities in Italy
Favorite foods are Chick-Fil-A, any kind of pasta, popcorn, sushi, steak and sandwiches
Favorite music genre is country
Fun Fact: Has a pacemaker to help her heart beat properly and has had 12 heart surgeries
After CU, wants to go to nursing school and travel the world
Chose CU because of the college atmosphere, competitive atmosphere, great facilities and people, and it was different than home (something new!)
