Her biggest sports hero is her dad: “I grew up attending his mountain bike races and seeing the dedication it takes to succeed. Still to this day, he pushes himself to the max and continues to strive to be the best version of himself. His current challenge is Leadville 100, which he’s competing in this August for the seventh time. He has told me one phrase every single day of my life growing up ‘you’re either getting better or you’re getting worse. You never stay the same.’ It’s shaped how I live and my perspectives on daily decisions.”
