Game Notes

·         Only the 10th loss in five years at home under Boyle coaching staff (65-10).

·         Only the second home loss during non-conference season under Boyle in 37 games (35-2).

·         CSU halts the Buffaloes 23-game non-conference home winning streak (11th longest in the nation).

·         First home non-conference loss since Dec. 9, 2011 (Wyoming, 65-54).

  • Only the seventh loss for the Boyle coaching staff in December (20-7).
  • CSU's ninth win in Boulder in 61 games (52-9).
  • 37th loss in the series overall (88 wins), and a 52-9 record against the Rams in Boulder.
  • Boyle remains at 97 wins overall, three away from 100 mark.
  • Boyle now 4-2 vs. CSU (3-1 at home).
  • Boyle is 11-6 against the Mountain West Conference as head coach. CU is 183-104 overall vs. the Mountain West Conference.
  • CU is now 21-7 under the Boyle coaching staff when the Coors Events Center is over 10,000 fans for a game (tonight's attendance: 10,966)
  • CU 4-1 when leading at the half this season.
  • CU makes 5 three-pointers tonight to extend their streak of consecutive three-pointers made in a game to 407 since Jan. 19, 2002 (5th longest streak in  Pac-12).
  • CU out-rebounds CSU 40-26, but falls to a 74-16 record when out-rebounding their opponent.
  • CU shoots a season-high 55.6% from three point range.

Askia Booker

  • Played in his 111th game, tying No. 22 all-time on CU games list.
  • Started his 75th career game, tying No. 18 all-time.
  • Three assists tonight to move into No. 15 place on all-time assists list with 259.
  • Scores 18 points to become 15th player in school history to net at least 1,300 collegiate points with 1314. Moves into 14th place on CU's all-time scoring list.
  • Ties a career high with 19 field goal attempts.

Josh Scott

  • Held scoreless in the first half for the first time since Feb. 5, 2014 (Washington State), where he finished with one point, one rebound.
  • Season-low two points scored.

Xavier Johnson

  • Season high 9 field goals made (20 points).
  • Shoots a season high 70% from the field.
  • 7th career game with at least 20 points.
  • 12th time in his career he has led CU in scoring.

Wesley Gordon

  • 6th career game with at least 10 rebounds (2nd time this season).

Jaron Hopkins

  • Fouls out for the first time this season (3rd career).
