October 24, 2018 | Tennis

BOULDER – Three student-athletes from the University of Colorado women's tennis program will travel to Boise, Idaho, to compete in the 2018 Barb Chandler Classic at Boise State University, starting Friday October 26th.

The Barb Chandler Classic will feature seven to eight teams; host Boise State, Montana, Montana State, Idaho, Idaho State, Eastern Washington and Utah State.

Colorado's seniors Annabelle Andrinopoulos and Brigitte Beck will be joined by freshman Ky Ecton. There will be a pair of 32-player singles draws and a pair of 16-team doubles draws.

The Buffs have played well in doubles competition this season, tallying a 12-4 record in two outings. Beck and Ecton have played one match together as a doubles pair, which they won. Andrinopoulos competed with Megan Forster last weekend and went 1-1 in the process. Beck has a 3-1 doubles record this season.

All three women have a pair of wins in singles play this fall season. Beck is 2-1 this season, winning both by sweeps. Ecton is 2-1 with five set victories, while Andrinopoulos is 2-2 with five set victories.

Action begins at 9 a.m. Friday in Boise. Live stats are available here.
