Earns the award for the final week of the regular season

FORT WORTH, Texas – Colorado forward Regan Kotschau took home the final Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week ahead of the opening of the Big 12 Tournament, the conference announced on Monday.

The Thornton, Colo., native totaled three points last week in the Buffaloes' 2-1 win over Kansas to conclude the regular season. Kotschau assisted on Hope Leyba's opening goal early in the first half and then broke the 1-1 deadlock on a free kick in the 82nd minute to help the Buffs to the win in Lawrence.

Her three points tied were tied for the Big 12 lead over the single-game week for the conference. It was also her second-career match with a goal and an assist.

The goal was her fifth of the season, and fourth as the game-winner. Kotschau now has career-highs in goals and points (15).

The honor is her first of her career and brings CU's total to four Offensive Player of the Week honors this season.

It's the 42nd Big 12 honor for CU and the 12th Big 12 offensive weekly award in the program's history.
