Buffs Head to Fort Collins for Jack Christiansen Invitational

BOULDER – Colorado track and field returns to action at the Jack Christiansen Invitational in Fort Collins, hosted by Colorado State University, March 27–28.
The meet begins Friday at 10 a.m., with the Buffs set to start competition Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
The meet will be streamed on the Mountain West Network on Saturday only.

LAST TIME OUT: Colorado opened the outdoor season at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational in Pueblo, highlighted by strong performances from the Buffs' throws crew.
Lucas Williams led the way with a personal-best mark of 190-01 in the hammer throw to place third and move to No. 9 all-time in program history.
Alaina Fantaski recorded a personal-best throw of 152-06 in the javelin to place third and move to No. 4 all-time at Colorado, while Amanda Opp added a runner-up finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 178-03.
On the track, Teagan Malcom picked up a win in the 400-meter hurdles (52.58), and Ernest Campbell placed third in the 100 meters with a season-opening time of 10.35.
