The top five teams from the six NCAA regionals, plus the low individual not on one of those teams, will advance to the 2026 NCAA Finals at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., May 22-27.

The other regional sites are in Ann Arbor, Mich. (University of Michigan Golf Course), Chapel Hill, N.C. (UNC Finley Golf Course), Simpsonville, Ky. (University of Louisville Golf Club), Stanford, Calif. (Stanford Golf Course) and Tallahassee, Fla. (Seminole Legacy Gold Club).

Colorado will pair with No. 7 TCU and No. 8 Tulsa in Monday's first round, with those groups beginning off the front nine at 7:50 a.m. MT

BUFFALOES NCAA REGIONAL HISTORY: Colorado makes its ninth NCAA Regional appearance and first in eight years. The Buffaloes have twice advanced past the regional round to the NCAA Finals, in 2012 and, in their last national appearance in 2018.

PAIR OF "W's": Colorado won its first tournament in eight years by claiming the Ram Classic on Sept. 23. The Buffaloes won the event, shortened to 36 holes due to weather, at 12-under-par, claiming their first team title since the Coeur D'Alene Collegiate in Sept. 2017. 

Colorado pulled off a second victory during the Spring, capturing the Causeway Invitational in Sacramento on Feb. 24. The Buffaloes shot even-par over 54 holes at the Del Paso Country Club, marking the first time Colorado has multiple tournament wins since 2011-12.

The tournament wins represented the 12th and 13th team titles in program history.

RECORD SETTING FALL: Colorado recorded the best Fall season by stroke average in team history at 73.29 over five events. The previous record was 73.60 set in 2023. 

Three of the top 18-hole scores in team history came during the fall. Colorado was 12-under in the first round of the Ron Moore Intercollegiate on Oct. 3, the third-best score 18-hole score in team history. The Buffaloes first round score of 11-under at the Ram Classic is now tied for fourth while their 5-under in the second round at Stanford on Oct. 18 is tied for seventh.

SPRING SUCCESS: Colorado continued that fall momentum into the spring. The Buffaloes enter the NCAA Regional with a team stroke average of 74.55, ranking second in team history just a fraction behind last year's average of 74.50. Colorados' current Spring average of 75.44 ranks as the fourth-best all-time.

Colorado finished in the top 10 of all 10 regular season team events, tied for the fifth most in a season. The 10 consecutive top 10 finishes ranks fourth all time.

THE LINEUP: 


#1 CAROLYN FULLER: Colorado's leader in scoring average at 73.19. She owns seven top 20 finishes this season, including three top 10s.  Fuller holds shares of the best overall round of the season, 65 twice, and low 54-hole score at 211.

Fuller has been the low Buffaloes scorer in three events, most recently tying for 12th at the GameAbove Invitational in Palos Verdes, Calif., at 1-over, 216.

Fuller has six rounds in the 60s this season, tying for the second most in team history. Her 66 during the third round at the Chevron Silverado Showdown ties for the best Spring season round in the Buffaloes' record book. She is the only golfer in team history with multiple rounds of 65 or lower during the course of a season.

Fuller leads the Buffaloes in eagles (four), birdies (99) and is third in pars (343). She also tops the team with nine sub-par rounds, 11 rounds at par or better and having her round count toward the team score 90.6 percent of the time (29 of 32).

She won team MVP and Most Improved honors, the latter coming for the second-straight year, lowering her scoring average between her sophomore and junior seasons by more than two strokes.

Fuller was named the 2025 Colorado Golf Association (CGA) Women's Player of the Year, after capturing medalist honors at the 78th CGA Women's Stroke Play Championship at Eisenhower Golf Club on the campus of the USAF Academy in July. She also competed at the 125th U.S. Women's Amateur at Bandon Dunes in Oregon.

#2 ELLEN O'SHAUGHNESSY: Ranks second on the team in scoring average at 74.28. She has five top 20 finishes this season, highlighted by a tie for second place at the Causeway Invitational in Sacramento, Calif., helping the Buffaloes to the team title. O'Shaughnessy shot 3-under, 213, at the Del Paso Country Club, to record her career-best 54-hole score.

O'Shaughnessy was Colorado's low 54-hole golfer for the first three Spring events, culminating with that runner-up finish at the Causeway. She tied for 13th at Arizona's Thunderbird Intercollegiate at 4-over, and tied for 15th at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club at 3-over to open the spring.

O'Shaughnessy leads Colorado in pars (349) while ranking second in eagles (three) and birdies (89). She had her career-best 18-hole score in the first round of Denver's Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, shooting a 66, eventually finishing at 1-under, tying for 13th overall.

O'Shaughnessy won Colorado's Toughest Buff Award for her outstanding effort in the weight room.

#3 MAYA McVEY: Fifth on the team in scoring average at 75.03. She holds shares of the best single round and low 54-score this season. 

McVey shot a 7-under, 65, in the first round of Colorado State's Ram Classic in Fort Collins. The 65 ties for the third-best 18-hole score in team history. She would go on to lead the Buffs to the team win in that even, tying for fourth at 4-under.

McVey would also shine in her next event, shooting 5-under, 211, to lead the Buffaloes to a runner-up finish at Denver's Ron Moore Intercollegiate, notching her second-straight top 5 finish.

McVey was Colorado's low golfer at the Big 12 Championship, tying for 48th at 13-over.
McVey tied for medalist honors at the 2025 CGA U.S. Women's Amateur Qualifier in Lafayette with a round of 68, advancing to the 125th U.S. Amateur in Oregon.

CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE: McVey is Colorado's lone golfer with NCAA Championship experience. A transfer from Central Missouri, she helped the Jennies to a runner-up finish at the 2025 NCAA Division II Championship. 

McVey was the individual runner-up at the NCAA Central Region and Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championships and won two of her three match play events during the national finals rounds. She was a two-time Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Central Region selection and the 2023-24 MIAA Freshman of the Year.

#4 TEEMAPAT PATEETIN: Ranks fourth on the team in stroke average at 74.55 and third during the spring season at 75.53. 

She has three top 20 finishes this season, highlighted by tying for runner-up honors at the Causeway Invitational at 3-under, 216, sharing that spot with teammate Ellen O'Shaughnessy. 

Pateetin is second on the team in sub-par rounds with seven and rounds at par or better with 10. She recorded a career-best 3-under, 69, during the first round of thd Causeway Invitational.

Pateetin claimed the Clever Coloradoan Award, given to the student-athlete who excels at the highest level both in the classroom and on the course. The Clever Coloradoan Award recipient is required to have at least a 3.5 GPA and a scoring average below 75. Pateetin aced both marks, earning a perfect 4.0 GPA during her first collegiate term along with her sub-75 scoring average.

#5 ANANTHI VIVEK: Has appeared in four events for the Colorado as a true freshman, making the team lineup for the first time at the Chevron Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif.

Vivek played as an individual at Northern Arizona's Red Rocks Invitational, tying for 15th overall at 5-over, with the help of a career-best  70 in the final round. She served as the alternate for the Buffaloes at the Big 12 Championship.

Vivek holds a stroke average of 75.91 through 11 career rounds. Nine of those have come in the spring, where she's lowered her average to 75.56.
