How to watch, listen and follow along — plus five things to know — for CU's game at Baylor
WACO, Texas – The University of Colorado Buffaloes travel to Waco, Texas to open up Big 12 Conference play against the Baylor Bears at McClane Stadium. Game time on Saturday is 10 a.m. MT and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
The Buffs (2-1) are looking to rebound after a tough 41-7 defeat at Northwestern last week. Baylor (2-1) is opening up conference play coming off two home wins against Prairie View on Sept. 12 and Louisiana Tech last week.
This will be the 18th meeting between the old Big 12 rivals, with CU holding a 10-7 edge overall and a 3-2 lead in Waco. The last game between the teams on Sept. 21, 2024 was one for the ages, with Shedeur Sanders completing a Hail Mary to LaJohntay Wester with time expired to tie the game at 31-31. The Buffs would go on to win in overtime after eventual Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter forced a fumble as the Bears were about to score to preserve the 38-31 victory.

Five Things To Know
1 - Big 12 Opener: Colorado opens Big 12 play and the Buffs will be making their first trip to Waco in 19 years, since a 43-23 win on Oct. 6, 2007, and the program's first game at Mc Lane Stadium, which opened in 2014. CU won a thriller, 38-31, in OT in Boulder in 2024.
2 - 181.0: Colorado has rushed for 183, 180 and 180 yards in its three games. CU has also had three different running backs lead the team in rushing this season. Dating back to 1946, the only other time the Buffs had three different running backs lead the team in rushing while racking up 180 yards or more was back in 1973. It's just the third time since the 2002 season the Buffs hit 180 yards rushing in three straight games, and the first time since 1996 they opened the season with three straight games of 180. This is the first time in five years the Buffs have had three different players, including quarterbacks, lead the team in rushing in three straight games, but it's the first time since 2013 that three running backs led the team in rushing in three straight.
3 - Four, Three & One: The difference in the game last week at Northwestern was drives, not yards. CU ended the game within 75 yards of NU, 423-348, but the Buffs lost four turnovers and were 0-for-3 on 4th down. Northwestern scored 31 points immediately after those seven drives.
4 - JoJo Williams: Joseph Williams had five catches for 88 yards and a touchdown at Northwestern, which came on a 50-yard pass from Julian Lewis. Williams is just the fifth player since 2007 to have back-to-back games with a 50-yard or longer touchdown catch, joining Jordyn Tyson, Shay Fields, Nelson Spruce and Paul Richardson twice. Williams also hauled in a 63-yard pass against Weber State on Sept. 12.
5 - Three For 10: Randon Fontenette (13), Naeten Mitchell (11) and Gideon ESPN Lampron (10) each reached double figures in tackles at Northwestern. It's just the second time in the Coach Prime Era that three players have reached double figures, with the other time taking place in the 2024 Kansas State game when Nakhai Hill-Green (13), Shilo Sanders (10) and D.J. McKinney (10) did so. And it's just the third game this decade, joined by the 2021 Minnesota game when Nate Landman (13), Quinn Perry (10) and Guy Thomas (10) hit double figures.
