Colorado Volleyball Hosts Arizona

BOULDER — The No. 21 Colorado volleyball team continues its Big 12 Conference schedule by hosting Arizona on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the CU Events Center.Â
Colorado (9-2, 0-1 Big 12) and Arizona (5-6, 0-0 Big 12) are familiar with each other, as they have met every year since 2011. The Buffs have won two of the last three matches against the Wildcats.Â
Colorado is coming off a loss to Utah in its conference opener, dropping three straight sets.Â

CONFERENCE CLASH: Arizona leads the all-time series 15-13. In the team's last meeting, CU took down the Wildcats in four sets. At home, the Buffs are 7-5 against Arizona.Â
WILDCATS LOOK: Arizona is led by outside hitters Destiny Ndam-Simpson and Carlie Cisneros. Ndam-Simpson has 110 kills on the season, averaging 2.89 per set. Cisneros averages 2.05 kills per set and 2.44 digs per set. She was named to the 2026 Preseason All-Big 12 Team. Charita Stubbs is in her fourth season as head coach for the Wildcats and her 23rd year with the program.Â
MILESTONE WATCH: Senior pin attacker Lily Dwinell surpassed two career milestones in the match against Utah. She reached 750 kills and 300 blocks. Senior defensive specialist/libero Peyton Neal needs 16 more digs to reach 1,000. Senior middle blocker Cayla Payne is approaching 400 career blocks. She needs 19 to reach the milestone.
