Outdoor: Porcelli competed in the javelin during the outdoor season. He recorded a season-best (133-4) at the CU Invite (4/12) where he placed ninth overall. Porcelli also threw over 130 feet at the Jack Christiansen Invite (4/26) with a mark of 132-10, which was 10^th overall.

HIGH SCHOOL: Porcelli was a member of the football and wrestling teams at MHS. He played football for Dave Logan and earned three letters while helping the Mustangs to back-to-back-to-back Colorado State 5A Championships. Porcelli also earned two letters on the wrestling team. He was named to the honor roll as a junior and senior.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Porcelli is a chemistry major.

PERSONAL: Timothy James Porcelli was born on September 2, 1993 in Palo Alto, Calif. He is the son of Bruce and Trish Porcelli and has two older siblings, Lisa and Mike. Porcelli enjoys hiking and snowboarding. During his first two years at Colorado, he was a member of the club rowing team and earned All-America status.
