COLLEGE--2006: Marston was an intrical part of the 2006 NCAA runner-up team. She was CU’s fifth harrier in every race starting with a season-best finish at the Rocky Mountain Shootout. Marston came in 12th and cut her personal record down by two full minutes at 21:49. She took 115th at pre-nationals. Martson was 23rd at the Big 12 Championships. She earned her first all-region honor with a 24th-place finish at the NCAA Mountain Region. Her 165th-place finish at nationals helped CU defeat Michigan for second-place by 10 points.
2005: Marston traveled abroad during the 2005 season and did not compete.
2004: She participated in three races her sophomore campaign. Martson finished third overall at Air Force and was fifth at Fort Hays. She was CU’s No. 2 runner in both races. Marston also placed 30th at the Rocky Mountain Shootout .
2003: Marston competed in three races as a freshman, with top-10 finishes in the Fort Hays Invite and a seventh-place finish at Air Force, scoring as CU’s No. 2 runner.
HIGH SCHOOL: Marston was all-league as a freshman and sophomore, and was Chaparral’s Scholar Athlete of the Year all four years as well as a member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior. Marston own the prep record in cross country (19:20) upon graduation and it still stands. She earned four letters in cross country and track.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Marston is majoring in integrated physiology. She has been a member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and is a member of the Academic All-Big 12 Team with a 3.334 GPA.
PERSONAL: Born Erin Denise Marston on July 27, 1985. Marston is the daughter of Brian and Diane Marston.
