Career: Finished his career second in team history in 3-point shooting at 40.1 percent (181-451). Ranks fifth in 3-pointers made, sixth in 3-point attempts, seventh in games played (127), 13th in starts (90), 14th in rebounds (681), 18th in scoring (1,294) and 20th in minutes played (2,866) in the Colorado record books.

2017-18 (Senior): Named to the 2017-18 All-Pac-12 Conference Second Team after averaging 12.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. He led Colorado in rebounding and his 251 total rebounds rank 26th on Colorado's single-season chart. King recorded nine double-figure rebounding games with six coming during Pac-12 play. He had a team-best six double-doubles on the season; finishing with 13 in his career. On the overall Pac-12 charts, King ranked third in defensive rebounds (6.1 drpg), fifth in overall rebounds, 12th in offensive rebounds (1.8 orpg), 14th in free-throw percentage (.782) and 3-point percentage, 15th in 3-point field goals (1.9 3mpg) and 22nd in scoring. King scored a season-high 26 points at UCLA (1/13) to lead the Buffaloes to their first win over the Bruins in Los Angeles. In that game, King hit a career and team-season high six 3-pointers and overall was 7 of 12 from the field with 10 rebounds and three blocked shots. King had five games with 20-plus points and scored in double-digits 19 times. He was named to the Paradise Jam All-Star Team, averaging 16 points and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 56 percent. King had a monster game in the championship win over Mercer (11/19) with 25 points on 9 of 13 shooting and eight rebounds. The following week against Air Force (11/26) he matched his scoring output with 25 points, again on 9 of 13 shooting, with a career-high 15 rebounds. King led the Buffaloes in rebounding 18 times and led the team in scoring in eight outings. Following the season, King earned the team's Stephane Pelle Rebounding Award for the second-straight season and earned a share of the inagural Tebo Family P.A.S.S. Award (along with freshman Evan Battey), created to recognize the player, or players, that best exemplified the virtues of Perseverance, Attitude, Selflessness and Success. He played in the annual NABC All-Star game prior to the Final Four where he was named MVP of the East team after scoring 21 points on 8 of 11 shooting with nine rebounds and three blocked shots. He then participated in the Portsmouth Invitational, a pre-NBA Draft showcase for college seniors. King was named to the Portsmouth All-Tournament team averaging 18 points and 7.7 rebounds in three games. For his efforts, he received an invitation to the 2018 NBA Draft Combine.

2016-17 (Junior): Colorado's leading returning scorer and rebounder after averaging 11.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He led the Buffaloes in rebounding while ranking third in scoring. On the overall Pac-12 Conference leaderboard, he was 11th in double-doubles (six), 13th in overall rebounds, 14th in defensive boards (4.8 drpg) and 15th in offensive rebounds (2.0 orpg). King shot 37.6 percent from 3-point range on the season, but that number skyrocketed to 47.8 percent during Pac-12 play, ranking fifth in the conference during that span. Overall, King shot 46 percent from the floor, with that number also jumping up during league games, to 49.1 percent. He had six double-doubles, four of which came during the nonconference schedule and twice in back-to-back fashion. King logged double-doubles in both of Colorado's games at the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y. He had 13 points and a career-high 13 rebounds against Notre Dame (11/21) and followed that up with 12 points and another 13 rebounds against No. 22/21 Texas (11/22) in the third place game. Two weeks later, King had 16 points and 10 rebounds in the win over No. 13/14 Xavier (12/7) and followed up that performance with 14 points and 12 rebounds at BYU (12/10). He tallied 22 double-figure scoring games, hitting the 20-point mark twice; logging a season-high 24 in the home win against Oregon State (1/26) and 21, on 8-of-13 shooting, at home against Washington (2/9). The Washington game was also his sixth double-double of the season, and seventh of his career, as he corralled 12 rebounds. Played in all 34 games, starting in 32. He was second on the team in minutes at 27.7 per game. At the end of the season awards banquet, King was voted Most Inspirational Player by his teammates.

2015-16 (Sophomore): Named the Pac-12 Conference Most Improved Player of the Year averaging 13.6 points and 4.7 rebounds a game while leading the league in 3-point shooting at 45.6 percent (68-of-149). His percentage was the second-best single-season performance in team history (minimum 100 attempts), just short of Levi Knutson’s 47.4 percent in 2010-11. King’s 68 3-pointers rank as the 10th most in a season at Colorado. King is Colorado’s second Pac-12 era player to win a Player of the Year award, joining Andre Roberson who was the league’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2013. He was second on the team in scoring and in free throws made and attempted (89-of-119). He had a memorable home weekend against the Washington schools. First, he had 21 points and nine rebounds against Washington State (2/11), but most importantly hit a fade-away 3-pointer at the buzzer of the first overtime that allowed the Buffaloes to send it to another extra frame and the eventual 88-81 win. Two days later, he recorded his first career double-double with 10 points and a personal-best 10 rebounds against Washington (2/13). King led the Pac-12 in scoring average during the conference tournament at 21.5 points per game. He had 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting in the first round against Washington State (3/9). King had 17 points in the first half alone, a personal best and matching Josh Scott’s team season best from the second half of the Arizona game on Feb. 24. King had 22 points in the quarterfinal against Arizona (3/10), hitting a career-high eight free throws. He had 24 double-figure scoring games and led the Buffaloes in scoring 11 times including a career and team season-high 27 points against Auburn (11/17). Along with his conference best 3-point percentage he also ranked sixth in 3-pointers made (2.0 3mpg), 15th in free throw percentage (.748) and 19th in scoring. He made 50-of-59 free throw attempts to end the season (.847), at one point hitting 14 straight. King had five games with at least four 3-pointers, hitting 68 percent in those outings (21-of-31). He was a key part in Colorado setting school records for 3-pointers made (252) and 3-point percentage (.389).

2014-15 (Redshirt): Used his redshirt year, did not play. Practiced with the Buffaloes all season.

2013-14 (freshman): Played in 27 games averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds a game. Had two games scorinng in double digits: 11 points in home win against Arkansas State (11/18) and 10 points in another home win over Elon (12/13). Tied for team honors with a season-high seven rebounds against Jackson State (11/16). Played a season-best 18 minutes against Elon; 16 minutes each in home wins versus USC (1/18) and Washington State (2/5). Personal-best three assists and two steals against the Trojans. Signed as the fourth freshmen to the team in May 2013.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Brennan High School in San Antonio. During his senior year, he averaged 17.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. Led the Bears to a 39-3 record and an appearance in the 4A state semifinals. Shot 60 percent from the field and named both TABC All-State and District 28-4A most valuable player. As a senior, recorded 25 double-doubles and had a pair of 20-20 games: 23 points and 20 rebounds against Warren and 20 points and 20 rebounds versus Lanier, including 12 rebounds in one quarter. As a junior, was an all-area selection. Helped the Bears to 75-9 record (.893) over his two years, including a 39-3 mark during his senior year.

Academics: Graduated from Colorado in May 2018 with his degree in Sociology.

Personal: Born January 15, 1994. Son of George and Tresse King. Tresse, a 25-year veteran of the Air Force, was promoted to Chief Master Sergeant at halftime of Colorado's 90-53 win over Sacramento State on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2016. George, and his sister Jecia Anderson, participated in the ceremony by pinning the stripes on her uniform. King grew up in Fayetteville, N.C. before attending high school in Texas. Selected CU because “I visited here like any other athlete would do and fell in love with Boulder. For me, it wasn’t a surprise at all. I knew where I wanted to go; that’s why I signed with the Colorado Buffaloes.”
