Michelle Jack is in her second year as an Associate Director of Compliance in the CU Athletics Department.
She came to Colorado after serving four years in the Compliance Office at a small school in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Prior to her time in Virginia, she served three-and-a-half years in the Compliance Office at the University of North Texas where she was responsible for bylaws 12, 13, 14, and 17. While at North Texas, she was the Executive Board Advisor for SAAC and she was elected to Staff Senate where she served on the Employee Relations and the Elections and Bylaws sub-committees.
Prior to entering the world of compliance full-time, she completed externships in the compliance offices at the University of Akron and Kent State University. She also completed an externship with the General Counsel’s Office at Kent State University.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron’s C. Blake McDowell School of Law in 2013, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Humanities from Kent State University where she graduated cum laude from the Honor’s College in 2005.
A native of Akron, Ohio, she is now happy to call the mountains home. She enjoys skiing, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time with her Treeing Tennessee Brindle, Juneau.
