Placed second individually at the season-opening Leadership and Golf Invitational played at Chambers Bay GC in Washington. Led the Buffaloes to a second place team finish as well. McVey shot 6-under-par, 210, finishing just one shot behind the individual champion. McVey’s final line of the week was a 71 in the first round, a career-best 69 in the second, and then a 70 in the final round, making her the 11th Colorado women’s golfer to go under par in all three rounds of a tournament.
