Buffs Set for Kit Mayer Classic in Golden

BOULDER – Colorado track and field returns to action at the Kit Mayer Classic in Golden, hosted by Colorado School of Mines, April 8 and 11.
Competition begins Wednesday with a small group of Buffs competing in the hammer throw, as Lucas Williams (men's) and Amanda Opp (women's) are set to open the meet at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., respectively. Aubrey Leneweaver will also compete Wednesday in the women's 400-meter hurdles at 5:45 p.m.
On Saturday, Olivia Sheridan will kick off the day for Colorado in the women's 1500 meters at 11:30 a.m. Kimi Bulto and Helen Carlson are scheduled to compete in the 800 meters at 12 p.m. and 12:05 p.m., respectively.
All times and events are subject to change and based on a tentative schedule.
