Buffs Set For NCAA Outdoor Championships

BOULDER – Colorado track and field sent four athletes to the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, set for June 10-13 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
The Championships will air on ESPN. Results can be found at cubuffs.com/tracklive.
Colorado's qualifiers include Abbey Nechanicky (10k), Avery Pearson (800m), Kole Mathison (3k steeplechase) and Danny Tragarz (400m hurdles).Â
All four earned their spots through the NCAA West First Round Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Wednesday, June 10
- Men's 3000m steeplechase semifinal (6:38 p.m.) – Kole Mathison
- Men's 400m hurdles semifinal (8:14 p.m.) – Danny Tragarz
Thursday, June 11
- Women's 800m semifinal (7:58 p.m.) – Avery Pearson
- Women's 10,000m final (8:56 p.m.) – Abbey Nechanicky
Friday, June 12
- Men's 3000m steeplechase final (6:24 p.m.) – Kole Mathison (if qualified)
- Men's 400m hurdles final (7:27 p.m.) – Danny Tragarz (if qualified)
Saturday, June 13
- Women's 800m final (7:14 p.m.) – Avery Pearson (if qualified)
The NCAA Outdoor Championships serve as the culmination of the collegiate track and field season. The nation's top athletes will compete for individual and team national titles at historic Hayward Field.
