Meshack Kipruto was named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Men's NCAA Division I National Athlete of the Week and Big12 Conference Men's Runner of the Week. Kipruto won the men's championship race at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational with a time of 22 minutes, 30.1 seconds, setting meet and 8K course records on the Thomas Zimmer Championships Course. The freshman helped lead Colorado to a second-place finish with 93 points, behind only No. 1-ranked New Mexico.
