
Buffs Compete on Two Fronts This Weekend

BOULDER — While Colorado's multi-event group wraps up day two at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., the rest of the track and field team will head to Golden this weekend for the Kit Mayer Classic, hosted by Colorado School of Mines.
The Buffs return to action after the Jerry Quiller Classic was canceled due to inclement weather.
A total of 39 athletes are slated to compete across 26 events at the Kit Mayer Classic, covering a full range of sprint, distance, hurdle, relay, and field disciplines.
Javelin and hammer throw will kick off the Kit Mayer Classic on Friday, while the rest of the team is set to compete Saturday to close out day two of the meet.
