Buffaloes Honored On Big 12 Academic Teams

BOULDER – The University of Colorado had 62 student-athletes named to the Big 12 Conference Spring Academic Team, the league office announced on Tuesday.
In addition, 41 first-year Buffaloes across all sports were named to the Big 12 Academic All-Rookie Team.
Spring Academic Team members covered Colorado's men's and women's golf, men's and women's track & field, tennis and lacrosse teams. Those honored carried a 3.20 GPA or higher either cumulative or over the two previous semesters while participating in at least 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Seniors who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
Rookie Team honorees are freshmen who have completed 24 semester hours and achieved a 3.0 GPA during their first year on campus.
