Buffaloes Continue Fall At Denver’s Ron Moore

BOULDER – Colorado is set to participate in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, Oct. 2-4, at the University of Denver Golf Club in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

The Buffaloes are one of 15 teams competing at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, which will feature three rounds of 18 holes each day.

Colorado has had recent success at the DU event, tying for second place last season and third in 2024. The Buffaloes' 11-under-par finish in 2025 ranks as the fourth-best 54-hole score in team history.

Colorado will have seven golfers participating this weekend, five of whom played in last year's tournament.

Senior Maya McVey has led the Buffaloes through the first two fall tournaments at a total of 6-under through six rounds. She placed second at the season-opening Leadership & Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay.

Sophomore Brenna Higgins was Colorado's top golfer at the GolfWeek Red Sky Classic in Wolcott, Colo., tying for 40th overall with a personal-best 54-hole score of 1-under 215.

Senior Carolyn Fuller had one of the top rounds in Colorado history at last year's Ron Moore Intercollegiate, shooting a 7-under 65 in the first round before tying for eighth overall at 2-under.

Ellen O'Shaughnessy also had a great Ron Moore Intercollegiate last season, tying for 13th overall at 1-under.

Sophomore Ananthi Vivek will make her season debut, claiming Colorado's fifth spot in the team lineup.

Sophomore Teemapat Pateetin and freshman Isabella Piazza will be playing as individuals. Piazza had a memorable collegiate debut at the Red Sky Classic, shooting 2-over, highlighted by a final round of 70.

Colorado will group with Xavier and UT San Antonio in Friday's first round with those pairings starting off the No. 10 tee beginning at 9:50 a.m.
