Buffs Launch Colorado Built, Season Tickets On Sale
June 02, 2026 | Men's Basketball
BOULDER – Colorado men's basketball is a program built on trust, character and work ethic.
That single phrase has resonated inside the walls of the CU Events Center for the last 16 years under the leadership of head coach Tad Boyle, an era that has seen unparalleled success.
Memorable moments. Historic seasons. A conference championship and sustained national-level competitiveness.
All of this created by a short phrase that represents a powerful ideal.
As Colorado kicks off season ticket sales for the 2026-27 campaign on Tuesday, the Buffaloes introduce their season-long theme, Colorado Built. A unified identity for the program that is built on our history, forged through our work ethic, proven in the moments and elevated by our community and fans.
These four "Pillars" represent the best of the Buffaloes and will be widely visible throughout the 2026-27 season, in recruiting, social media, storytelling, fan engagement and more:
BUILT BY THE WORK: The off-season grind. The high-intensity work. The weights, conditioning, preparation. Dedication to the program.
BUILT BY THE HERD: The connection and shared camaraderie with the fans: CU students, donors and community, highlighting the impact made by the atmosphere at the CU Events Center. As Boyle puts it best: "College basketball is a participant sport."
BUILT BY OUR HISTORY: Continuing our legacy and honoring the past – wearing the jersey for those who wore it before you. Sharing in the success of previous greats.
BUILT BY THE MOMENT: The anticipation of what's next, being there for the biggest games and moments in 2026-27, while revisiting those fantastic events of our past. The buzzer-beaters, ranked wins and milestones.
As the Buffaloes get to work this summer, Colorado returns senior Barrington Hargress, one of the most efficient guards in the country a season ago, along with a talented core of returning second-year players in Ian Inman, Jalin Holland and Josiah Sanders.
In addition, Colorado welcomes an intriguing list of newcomers, headlined by forward Justin Neely, the second-best rebounder in the nation last season and proven big man Noah Feddersen from North Dakota State as the Buffaloes prepare for play in the Big 12, arguably the deepest and toughest slate in the nation.
